Exciting Book! A Must Read!
I really enjoyed this book! Love the way each character is unique and they are all so vivid! Rachel obviously put a lot of time and thought into each of them. After hearing about Will for so long and getting snippets from the author, I was excited to read it of course, but she exceeded my expectations! This was a faced-paced, exciting, mysterious, scientific adventure loaded with tangible motives, thoughtful dialogue, fantastic humor, and lots and LOTS of pineapples! And the villians actually have real personalities and motivations -- which is not always the case with villians. After all, how does one make sure a villian is dispicable AND understandable? This author obviously has the answer to that.Yes, it is a middle-grade book, but as an adult, I still really enjoyed it! It has mystery, adventure, friendship, and morals. And I loved finding the little "snippets of Rachel," aka, the things that I know are "her" more than "Will." But that's what happens when one creates characters and I personally, am here for it.Will Worthington and the Black Rainbow was so much fun, and I can't wait to read the next book! Definitely give it a try -- you won't be disappointed! And get an extra copy for a young reader in you life; it would make an excellent Christmas gift!
